Body of Proof 'גוף ההוכחה' היא סדרת טלוויזיה אמריקאית שעלתה לאוויר ע'י רשת ABC במהלך שנת 2011. הסדרה מתמקדת בד'ר מייגן האנט (מגולמת ע'י דנה דלני)- בעבר שימשה ד'ר האנט כמנתחת אך תאונת דרכים שעברה מספר שנים לפני התרחשות העלילה פגעה בתפקוד העצבי של ידיה (מה שמתבטא בתחושת 'נימול' בידיים ורעידות קלות בהן לעיתים) ולהסב את עבודתה לתפקיד בוחנת רפואית כשפטר דאנלופ (מגולם ע'י ניקולס בישופ)- בעברו חוקר משטרתי וכיום גם כן בוחן רפואי- מסייע לה בעבודתה. דמויות נוספות הן קייט מרפי (ג'רי ראיין)- המנהלת של מייגן ואיתן גרוס וד'ר קרטיס- העובדים יחד איתה במחלקה. מי שעובד עם בית החולים הם הבלשים סמנתה בייקר (סוניה סון) ובאד מוריס (ג'ון קרול לינץ') בכל פרק הצמד מוזעק לזירה אחרת בה נמצאת גופה אלמונית כלשהי כשמטרתם היא לגלות את סיבת המוות של הגופה. פעמים רבות סיבת המוות שמתגלית ע'י הצמד שונה לחלוטין מהסיבה שעליה חשבו בני המשפחה והמשטרה קודם לכן מה שמוביל ליצירת דרמות משפחתיות חזקות או שמעורר שדים שהיו רדומים במשך זמן רב. החוקרים משתמשים במגוון טכניקות רפואיות ומשטרתיות כדי לגלות את סיבת המוות ואת הגורם לו- אדם או מחלה. הדבר יכול להיעשות על סמך הרמז הדק ביותר כגון חתיכת בוץ הדבוקה לנעל או שארית כמוסה רפואית נמצאה בתוך הגופה. הסדרה נותנת גם הצצה לחייה האישיים של ד'ר האנט שאיננה ידועה כטיפוס חברותי במיוחד- פעמים רבות מוטחת בפניה הטענה כי היא מעדיפה לעבוד עם המתים- שאינם יכולים להתלונן או למחות נגדה מאשר להתמודד עם בני האדם החיים. בתגובה היא משיבה כי בעבודתה היא נותנת למתים הזדמנות יחידה לומר את דבריהם על ידי חשיפת האמת על סיבת מותם. כמו כן ד'ר האנט היא גרושה ואם לילדה בגיל ההתבגרות המתגוררת אצל אביה והשילוב בין גיל ההתבגרות של הבת והריחוק הרגשי של האם יוצרים מערכת יחסים מורכבת וטעונה על אף נסיון האם להתקרב לביתה
